Mission:

At Good Hope Community School, we are dedicated to nurturing each child's unique gifts and fostering a love for learning through a Christ-centered approach. We strive to create a loving and supportive learning environment, guided by biblical principles, where each child can grow spiritually, academically, and socially.

Vision:

Our vision, first and foremost, is to build disciples for Christ, inspiring our students to pursue a personal relationship with Him. We aim to provide a holistic educational experience that nurtures the spiritual, academic, and emotional growth of each child. Our goal is to prepare children to be compassionate leaders and responsible citizens, equipping them with necessary life skills to positively impact their communities and to always be a light for Christ wherever they go.

Meet Our Team!

God has been working, moving and preparing the space for Good Hope Community School for over 5 years now! I am so excited to be able to lead the way and help ensure our program meets the needs of local families in our wonderful community. I have been a teacher for 11 years, working with students of all grades and academic levels. I love teaching students how to read and teaching math! I am so excited to work at GHCS, where we will utilize small-group and individualized learning and encourage kids to be kids through unique, hands-on learning experiences. I am eager to see how God continues to bless this school, the children, the staff, and the families. My husband, Matt, and I have 3 children who are 6, 4, and 2. We enjoy playing sports, being outside, and fishing together as a family. When I have a free moment, I enjoy reading on my porch.

Hi! I’m Rebecca Foster, and this is my third year teaching preschool at Good Hope. I’ve been married to my husband, Davey, for 10 years, and we have an 8-year-old daughter who attends United Christian Academy. Our family is blessed to be part of Rapidan Baptist Church, and we love it!

I’m happiest outdoors—whether I’m relaxing on the porch or planting a full garden. God has also given me a passion for running, and I’m proud to call myself a marathoner. I’ve completed four Marine Corps Marathons and am training for my fifth this October!

Hi! My name is Jamie Carpenter and I am delighted to join the Good Hope Community School team! I was born in Madison County, and my upbringing in a small community has instilled in me a deep appreciation for the value of community. I reside on a small family farm with my husband, Ashby, and our three children, Lacey, Lainey, and Avery. I am eager to contribute to the school’s mission and support the growth and development of our students. My greatest joy is sharing the love of Jesus with my students!
